Android News: WhatsApp's Material Design Officially Rolls Out To Everyone In The Play Store With The 2.12.84 Update

Although it has been available for a month in "beta," WhatsApp's Material redesign wasn't yet live in the app's official Play Store listing. That changes now since the rollout of version 2.12.84 brings with it the improved look and cleaner interface elements that those of us who live on the bleeding edge of betas have been enjoying for weeks.

Included are redesigned icons, a transparent status bar, a unified and collapsible menu bar, beautiful hero images for contacts and groups, new animations for adding attachments, a green bubble for unread messages, and a lot more.
