Android News: Xiaomi Announces The $200 Mi 4i With A 5-inch 1080p Screen, 2GB Of RAM, And Octa-Core Snapdragon Processor

Xiaomi might have global ambitions, but its latest phone is still debuting in still sticking close to home. The Xiaomi Mi 4i was just announced for the Indian market, and it looks like a great mid-range phone that's priced around $200. It will be out on April 30th.

• 2nd gen Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor 1.7GHz
• 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB Flash
• 5"screen, 1920x1080, 441PPI, Sunlight Display
• 3120mAh battery, 1.5 days of normal usage
• 13MP camera, two-tone flash, 5MP front camera
• 4G dual SIM, dual standby
• MIUI 6 on Android 5.0

Xiaomi is talking up the screen on this device, calling it a "sunlight display." Apparently it will be better than past LCDs for use outdoors.
