As we await the announcement of the HTC Hima or HTC One (M9), we are now getting word on what is being referred to as the Hima Ace Plus. The Ace Plus will supposedly be a larger version of the Hima, or as some like to call, a phablet. If you remember, HTC came out with the One Max a year and half ago, which was a larger One (M7), however, they didn’t release a larger One (M8).
This so called larger device isn’t all that much bigger than the Hima (M9), assuming the rumored specs are correct for both devices. The rumor for the Ace Plus has it sporting a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 144) display with almost non-existent bezels at the sides. It will also come with a 2.3 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, 20 MP rear camera, 4MP Ultra Pixel front-facing camera, 3,000 mAh battery, and Sense 7.0. There is even a rumored fingerprint sensor, which we hope is nothing similar than what we saw on the One Max.
The Ace Plus isn’t expected until the fall of this year so who knows if it will ever see the light of day. The One (M8) Prime was rumored for most of last year only to find out it was scrapped.
